Review of Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) by Mithil B — 02 Mar 2012
Leone creates a serious western which has more style and action to it. The revenge story is simple and nothing new about it. But the direction and Marriconi's score makes it one of the most powerful westerns to date.
But definitely not greater than the dollar trilogy. Still, Once Upon a time in the West doesn't stop entertaining...
