El Mariachi and Desperado have their charms, but not a single one of these charms decided to show up in this movie. Worn-out dialogue and badly staged action scenes meander through the convoluted mess of this Sergio Leone "homage".
It's good that Mr. Rodriguez never made a fourth installment in this series since the third one thoroughly proved that the concept was out of gas.
