A pretty good action movie with lots of style and cool factor. I love the beautiful setting of Mexico (duh). Johnny Depp was really good as a bad guy surprisingly with a morbid sense of humor. The story was a little confusing in the beginning, but as the movie went on it unraveled it's intricate layers.
The characters were good and there is a lot of big name Hispanic actors making cameos in the film. Hayek was hardly in the movie, although you think she is going to be one of the main characters. The film has a lot of unbelievable action parts in it, but it has a sense of humor about it.
I would like to watch it again sometime. I didn't realize it's part of a trio of films, so I can't compare it to the other ones yet.
