Review of Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003) by Albert O — 01 Sep 2013
Stellar cast aside, this final installment in the mariachi trilogy is a convoluted, and un-interesting mess that is made barely watchable by Johnny Depp's charming and hilarious performance! All the best scenes involve his character Sands and the mariachi is unfortunately swept aside.
The action is just as implausible as the rest of the series, but I find it dull after about two minutes. Too many characters, too many subplots, just a bad film.
