Boring, pretentious, filled with worthless subplots, lacking in character, plot, and arc. Nothing about this speaks "accomplished director." Pulp Fiction seems to have been a one-hit-wonder for Tarantino as he hasn't put out a film of that caliber since.
Overrated director.
