Review of Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood (2019) by Scraper — 29 Jul 2019
Tarantino has nothing to say anymore which is why his movies seem to drone on unchanging until a desperate twist or shocking violence happens. It's schizophrenic filmmaking that reveals that substance is injected, not properly built into conclusions and reveals.
His concepts are too simple but the budgets are sky-high and the actors AAA list so millions will continue to watch these movies that they don't really like then spend the next year trying to convince themselves that they "got it" and liked it.
