Review of Once Upon a Time in Anatolia (2011) by Matt M — 07 Jan 2013
A character driven film that lets its story flow naturally, thus not only adding a sort of realism but also a rarely seen brand of intensity that forgives its two hours and a half length. The film is also beautifully and meticulously shot, with the photography making the most of the wonderful Anatolian setting and most of the action taking place in near darkness.
