Review of Once Upon a Time in America (1984) by Chris K — 05 Jun 2009
This movie is unreasonably long, so let me break it down for you: There are three major female characters in the movie and Robert DeNiro's character has sex with all of them. Two are rapes and the other is for money.
The ending isn't complete garbage, but there's just too much child sex, rape, and greedy stupidity in it for me to take any serious message away from it. The music is good because it's Ennio Morricone, but I still wouldn't recommend sitting through this.
