Review of Once Upon a Time in America (1984) by Martin F — 04 Jan 2010
Coming of age story about boys soon to be men and their encounters with loyalty and betrayal, friendship and animosity, business and pleasure. I wouldn't really classify this as a gangster movie. It's more of a period piece that just happens to be rooted during a harsher time.
What I really like about the storyline is that it makes you hate Noodles in the beginning, but then after three and a half hours of character development I waset uncertain. What's your take?
