Review of Once Upon a Time in America (1984) by Prince C — 20 Mar 2010
This film is legendary and goes toe to toe with The Godfather legacy-infact the only mafia movie that is arguably as good as the Godfather. Tales of a young jewish newyorker (R. De Niro) rising to fortune during the prohibition era.
There are some disturbing scenes, Sergio Leone (Q. Tarrantino's fav director) makes u say: "oh no that didn't just happen". Memorable quote- "Noodles, I slipped!" (tells best friend, while dying from a gun wound).
