Review of Once Upon a Time in America (1984) by Mike C — 16 Jun 2010
Sergio Leone was so good. The camera work in this movie is just so outstanding, a lot of the scenes are so real that it feels like your staring at them. De Niro is great as always, James woods who is probably the most underrated actor of his generation delivers a twisted, and brilliant performance.
The movie is almost like an exploration of human emotions and actions as a result of emotions, it gets quite intense at times. The feel of the movie is like no other and rarely has a movie in the genre matched it.
