You have to save some time to watch this close to four hour long film, but it's so worth it. Once Upon a Time in America is incredibly poetic as well as entertaining, and philosophical. The whole movie is very beautiful, and has a surprisingly fantastic performance from James woods, and a great one by De Niro.
This may be the greatest gangster movie of all time, but it's also a story about regret and friendships, making it feel a little more universal. A true masterpiece.
