Review of Once Upon a Time in America (1984) by Stefan K — 02 May 2010
This film is Sergio's masterpiece. Its an effort to think simply of what was not amazing in the film. James Woods and Robert DeNiro are an excellent team in the film. The entire cast did an excellent job when it came to committing to their characters, which is one reason why this film turned out so beautifully.
The best part however were the signature Leone moments that made you smile or laugh or get goosebumps. A true classic, this and The Godfather ARE American crime film.
