Review of Once Upon a Time in America (1984) by Mitchell K — 25 Jul 2013
Unlike any of Leone's films, Once Upon a Time in America was perhaps his darkest and the most complex film he made. The mood of the film is portrayed masterfully and it constantly changes throughout the film, like each characters relationships with each other.
The film can feel haunting, bold, unsettling and tragic. It's fantastic, and a must see for any fans of gangster films.
