Review of Once Bitten (1985) by Bret G — 19 Oct 2014
Though its fun final act helps compensate for its dull middle, this fast-paced comedy ultimately proves toothless. Commendable points include Cleavon Little's hip-swinging camp swagger, earnest Jim Carrey (with accent!), sexy Lauren Hutton, sexy Karen Kopins, "his & his towels," "rump rangers," and the best damn 80s dance-off you've never seen. Less commendable points include the remainder of the film.
Hey, what can I say? It's still a better vamp story than Twilight. Rent it.
