Review of Once (2009) by Estelle B — 24 Jun 2010
Really captivating story: these two non-actors play their roles so realistically and honestly I couldn't believe they weren't pro's. The music is very beautiful, and fit perfectly with the story of two musicians collaborating on an album.
The ending surprised me, and made me love the movie even more: a story doesn't need a Hollywood ending to end well. As the movie ended, I already missed the characters. These are people you really care about, and want to see them succeed.
