Review of Once (2009) by Nancy O — 27 Mar 2011
A warm and lovely musical that feels incredibly natural and organic. The chemistry between the two leads is fantastic (especially considering both are musicians, not actors), and the songs will stick with you forever.
Hollywood should look to this little film as an example how how to tell a story that thrives on emotion, and not flash and bang.
