Review of Once (2007) by Ernst M — 28 Dec 2011
This one of those movies where you know coming in that it is a indy flick and may not be what you expect but in this case that would of been a good thing. The only saving grace of this movie is that of the songs being ones that got stuck in my head.
The acting well let's just say that even the director (who was a former co-bandmate of the lead actor) said he didn't cast people based on their acting ability. Well that was for darned sure. Whatever chemistry there was between the two actors were disserviced by the "keeping it real life" style of the film.
This movie had a really good concept but just couldn't deliver on that concept.
