Hollywood's idea of a romantic comedy has become one that is more focused on the sex than the actual romance. "Once" completely shatters that stereotype. The story of two broken-down musicians who find each other through their music is absolute genius, told with extremely catchy and meaningful songs and very down-to-earth dialogue.
More than half the time I didn't think I was watching a movie, but I was watching two ordinary humans on the streets of Dublin. "Once" shows the world the true meaning of love in a way that other romantic comedies can only dream of achieving.
