Review of On the Waterfront (1954) by Tom M — 03 May 2009
It's classic performance by Marlon Brando. I also really liked Rod Steiger and Lee J. Cobb. It's also an important topic to cover in a movie. I find that it falls into too much melodrama, mostly brought by Karl Malden as the priest.
That just needed to be toned down a little, but still the movie is memorable.
