Review of On the Waterfront (1954) by Scott M — 16 Jul 2009
What an awesome cast (Brando, Malden, Saint, and two of the 12 Angry Men!).
I'm not really a huge Brando fan (except for The Godfather), and I wasn't really blown away here either, but he's a talented actor who is good at the types of roles he plays.
I can tell this film is a strong influence on season 2 of The Wire, and for that I give it a lot of credit.
