Review of On the Waterfront (1954) by Tara S — 20 Jul 2010
Brando gives a stunning performance as the ex-boxer who is caught up the the corruption on the waterfront. He plays the character so well and clearly shows the conflicts he has to face. He fully deserved his Oscar.
Malden is equally good showing a great passion for the role of the priest. This film stands up to the test of time, with just as much relevance to the working class man as it ever has.
