Review of On the Waterfront (1954) by Garrett M — 07 Mar 2010
Powerful and inspiring, Elia Kazan's On the Waterfront is without a doubt, one of the best movies ever made. It is story of redemption for an ex-prize fighter named Terry Malloy (Brando). Terry Malloy reminds of my a lot of Rocky Balboa ('ya know what I mean?').
In the end, Terry stands up for what is right in spite of the murderous threats that are tossed at him by the city's crime boss. What a story!
