Review of On the Waterfront (1954) by Rohit R — 18 Sep 2010
An absolutely perfect film from beginning to end. I expected to love it, but I was just really blown away by it. The writing is so rich, the cinematography so original, gritty yet beautiful. Elia Kazan, who also directed East Of Eden, which is amazing as well, is such an underrated director, he creates Biblical-esque stories for the modern age.
