Review of On the Waterfront (1954) by Alexandra R — 23 Dec 2011
In my eight grade English class, we watched this to examine plot. Granted, I was a little upset because my teacher was horrible (a whole other story) and we had already watched several bad films that year.
This is the one good thing I got out of this class. By far it's one of the best films I've seen. A great performance by Marlon Brando...amazing cinematography...superb writing. It has it all. Elia Kazan changed cinema.
