Review of On the Town (1949) by Alex V — 08 Jan 2008
Hilarious, for many of the wrong reasons. But hilarious all the same! Totally worth seeing, mostly for the trip back in time to laugh at silly 40s euphemisms and what was politically correct at the time, as well as for the damn catchy songs.
And Gene Kelly! And Frank Sinatra! I really love tom-toms!
