Review of On the Town (1949) by Tim M — 06 Feb 2008
Truly, one of the great Hollywood musicals with a wonderful cast and some inspired choreography. Gene Kelly uses his canvas -- the film frame -- to his advantage, as always. Sinatra shines with a smooth, velvety voice; lots of comedy from all performers.
Those who like Kelly and Sinatra should see this film.
