Review of On the Rocks (2020) by Dawdlingpoet — 11 Aug 2022
I can't rate this any lower due to Bill Murray being in it and being particularly, well...Bill Murray-ish. He doesn't appear for the first 20 minutes or so but I was interested enough in the main story, away from him, anyway so it wasn't too big an issue.
I would say that by the end, I'm not sure if I was entirely convinced by what we're told happened but I found it a very enjoyable watch overall anyway. Murrays character, the ladies father, has plenty of slick one liners and manages to talk himself out of numerous situations, the usual.
Its a very watchable and somewhat laidback of a film. I enjoyed it, so yes, I'd recommend it.
