Review of On The Road (2013) by Sutthirak P — 22 Oct 2012
It is literally wonderful journey but lacks an inspiration. Right after watching, I really wanted to read the original novel because I thought the book must be better than this film adaptation. Director Walter Salles just took a ride and presented the views, not pushed characters' motivations into the movie.
However, the cast led by Sam Riley did their jobs very well especially Garrett Hedlund & Tom Sturridge. Other technical works were all good. "On the Road" is an unfinished poetry.
