Review of On The Road (2013) by Emmanuel B — 27 Jan 2013
This is to me Walter's most accomplished work. But I do not understand why he considered that it was worth adapting this cult novel, nor how he felt eager to compete with people 's mental interpretation of it.
To me this adaptation was a mistake from the start, and I am not surprised by the reactions. Now, I also think that this story is too anchored in its time, and I do not see what it brings to today's audience.
