Review of On The Road (2013) by Abby D — 17 Aug 2013

I read the book this year and was not impressed with it at all, and the movie is even worse! Yeah it has it's pretty moments but it's the story that ruins everything. Sal is so entranced with his friend Dean who does every bad decision in the book but is looked up to among so many people.

He doesn't have any good qualities about him, he is just the biggest jerk on planet earth. I don't agree with the message of the movie/book which is to live life to the fullest by partying, sleeping and drinking every last drop of life.

But the ending is a little satisfying but still it is not enough to save the movie. Oh yeah, and Kristen Stewart is in it and is not very good in the movie. Shocker.
