Review of On the Road (2012) by Maridia B — 21 Dec 2012
Just a soulless, heartless, flailing attempt that falls well short of doing Kerouac's story justice. Everyone seems to try too hard in this movie to capture their character but no one really does. The only compliment I have is for the props department for coming up with all of the old benzadrine containers.
It wasn't pretty, compelling, tragic, joyous... it was just there.
