Goldberg's typically favorable with her moments, but less than her attempts to be funny when she's the only comedic quality in this unfunny sports comedy. She'd followed a good concept of a seated-far-away fan-turned-coach of her favorite team becomes more than she acknowledges.
The other concept of a weak team is similar (excluding the powerless team in "Space Jam"), next to the similarly somewhat semi-"The Best of Times" silliness. (B-).
