Review of On the Beach (1959) by April M — 29 Feb 2008
This is a depressing movie throughout ... but also very sweet and poignant. It's also the most realistic imagining of a post-apocalyptic world. Gregory Peck was beautiful, as always. This is the sort of movie that makes you hold your loved ones closer.
DVRed off TCM, I think.
