Oh, brother. I adore RBG. She is brilliant. An icon. A ray of hope. And she deserves a movie that is far better than this. Her character is alternately feisty and deferential, whip-smart and dithering, hard-working and un-prepared, intuitive and tone-deaf.
There are just way too many baked-in Hollywood clichà (C)s to make this bearable.
