Review of On the Basis of Sex (2018) by T C — 07 Jan 2019
Having seen the documentary and read the biography on -RBG- I thought this added some drama to the story and was played well by all the actors. The background score was tremendous and the decade by decade chapters made her life timeline easy to understand.
The accent by Ms. Jones was a struggle to believe seeing as she's english; but she looked just like RBG when she was younger. The rest of the cast had a lot of fun "hamming" it up but they sort of had to in order to make a legal movie about constitutional law sexy.
We really enjoyed it, especially the conclusion with the beautiful blue dress! Four-stars-****.
