Review of On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) by Brett B — 29 Mar 2009
Probably the best Bond film from a pure story standpoint. Lazenby has been unfairly maligned ever since the film was released, I think; sure, he's no Connery, but he's perfectly fine here. Savalas and Rigg are terrific, the Alpine scenery is breathtaking, and John Barry's score is one of his best.
Excellent film.
