Review of On Golden Pond (1981) by Jessica S — 19 Dec 2007
So few movies rely on authentic emotion and realistic characters. This film does not rely on special effects or over-the-top ideas to be successful -- it is an accurate portrait of normal people dealing with their thoughts, emotions, lives, and family members.
The word "authentic" just keeps coming to mind. I loved seeing Henry Fonda and Katharine Hepburn together -- that combination of classic acting is worth it.
