Character-driven film with great performances from the late Katherine Hepburn and Henry Fonda. Jane Fonda (Henry Fonda's daughter) plays a woman who desperately seeks recognition from her prickly, conservative dad.
The relationship is troublesome until Jane Fonda brings a new 'son' to their sunshine lake cottage.
