Review of On Golden Pond (1981) by Warren S — 28 Feb 2008
This movie (taken from the play) gave Henry Fonda his only Oscar (just before he died) and paired with Katharine Hepburn was marvelous casting. They are brilliant together even though they are old. Jane playing their daughter was a great choice and I think it was the only time they ever acted together.
I hear that the characters were not that far from reality in their relationship with each other.
