Review of On Golden Pond (1981) by William H — 16 Mar 2008
This is like watching my childhood on the screen...From the location all filmed on Squam Lake and Lake Winnepesaukee, to the family Parcheesi games to the strained father-daughter relationship(father-son in my case).
..I admit to crying often even after seeing probably a dozen times. A truly bittesweet experience but I love this movie including the close-up scenes of the Loons...We have seen them at our own dock though they are very shy birds.
..Must see this one.
