A perfect movie.
I watch it the beginning of every summer.
If you give yourself over to it, it is devastating in its honesty and beauty and, yes, real-life heroism.
If you've had a taste of the country summer - it seems to have almost entirely disappeared in this country - then the setting itself is like an old friend.
