Review of On Golden Pond (1981) by Mitchell Y — 23 Jul 2007
A very small story that's charming and all about the acting. Its emotions go alot deeper than you would think and it's great that it's pretty much Henry Fonda's last film and that both he and Katharine Hepburn won Oscars for their portrayals of an aging couple trying to fix their troubled past family relationships.
Understated and brilliant.
