Review of Omkara (2006) by Karan V — 09 Nov 2007
VB's masterpiece. The score, as one would expect, is haunting, there's some gorgeous color saturation and shot composition (those tableaux!) -- and, as always, he brings out the best in his actors, both individually and as an ensemble.
Who knew Saif and Kareena could act? :) Also one fairly impressive Steadicam sequence involving Ajay Devgan and Kareena...
