Do Americans ever get tired of their own self centered patriotic BS? Apparently not coz they even made 2 clone movies (the other being White House Down). For us non-Americans most fun can be had from watching the white house get shot to smithereens, the president getting beat up and the military and secret service being portrayed as the bunch of incompetent little monkeys they are.

They made this on a tight budget (70m$) by todays standards and you can tell that they skimped on the VFX (helicopters and destruction looks a bit CG) and on the script. Maybe the rest of the world was thinking what I was thinking coz outside of the US the film made little money.

Hey, maybe consumers are getting smart and are starting to vote with their wallet. If this trend continues they'll maybe start making intelligent movies...
