I guess I'm just not the jarhead junkie demographic this film was meant for. Mindlessly violent and ludicrously convenient, I'm just a little stunned Gerard Butler's character is the one we're meant to root for when he seemed to be the most ruthlessly violent and cold one of them all.
I guess I get it though, the movie graciously reminded me to not take it too seriously when a woman started reciting the Pledge of Allegiance while supposedly being dragged to her execution.
