Review of Olympus Has Fallen (2013) by Baurushan J — 30 Dec 2013

While White House Down was bright and colourful, this movie was more dark and original. The story begins with Mike Banning played by Gerard Butler who after saving President Ben Asher played by Aaron Eckhart and his son Connor played by Finley Jacobsen, Mike is now their presidential guard.

18 months later, North Korean terrorists attack the White House and kidnap Ben. While Mike runs off to hunt the terrorists one by one, the national security team scrambles to respond as the terrorists led by Kang by Rick Yune is planning to launch all USA missiles onto itself creating a dark wasteland.

The action kicked was pure brute, the story was incredibly original, Gerard Butler played a great hero and Rick Yune played a great villain. This is how an action movie should be made. Olympus Has Fallen gets a 10/10.
