This Die Hard in the Whitehouse really really should not work, but thanks to Gerad Butler kicking terrorist arse you cant help but like the film .

The premise is fairly join the dots as The President of United States is taken hostage by a terrorist faction hell bent on creating World wide chaos and only Gerad Butlers disgraced national security man can prevent it all from going pear shaped.

Yes its dumber than a bag of hammers and if you shoe in Morgan Freeman to give the hokey plot some gravitas you might think its all a bit rubbish.

But wait Butler is on good form here showing all those shitty romantic comedies cover up the fact he can actually act and director Antoine Fuqua piles on enough slam bang action to keep most action film junkies happy.

The film doesnt pretend to be anything else other tham popcorn fodder ,but unlike the last Die hard film this is how an action film should work .
