Action packed entertainment. Very captivating and realistic depiction of the capital but a bit too over-the-top to get 5 stars. And why was Gerard Butler in clothes most of the time? My wife kept waiting for the big scene where he is shirtless in battle but it never came except for the little tease in the beginning.

Special FX were excellent and the story seemed quasi-plausible but it was hard to believe the President's son could hide so easily and that the bad guys could invade the capital with little trouble. Are we really that vulnerable?

Morgan Freeman needs to get some roles as the bad guy, his ubiquitous obi-wan-kenobi serious savior shtick is worn out. I bet he would love to play the ruthless criminal for once.
