(2013) Olympus Has Fallen.
ACTION.
Big budget "Die Hard in the White House", which if it wasn't for it's high production standards- this film would've been a hit/ miss for me since they're some inconsistencies. Gerald Butler stars as Mike Banning, who turn ex- secret service agent after a failed encounter. He goes back doing regular desk work at an office nearby, but still can see the White house from his office. But just when Korean terrorists begin to attack, for the intentions of chaos purposes- everybody else is dead except Banning which acts like another "Die Hard" film as soon as our hero corresponds with some government officials at Pentagon, particulalry the Morgon Freeman character.
The shootings are nothing original except that it has many innocent civilians killed, as well security people. Many hand to hand combats is similar to what one can find in a Jeff Speakman film eg "The Perfect Weapon". The martial arts used by the main star is "Kenpo" style and is not as good as I've seen it from other films.
2.5 out of 4 stars.
